National Lottery players will be checking their tickets tonight after another Lotto draw took place at 8pm. To play, Brits have to choose six numbers between one and 59, at a cost of £2 per line. Alternatively, they can let Lady Luck choose the numbers for them by picking a Lucky Dip.

The National Lottery‘s Lotto draw took place at 8pm. The winning Lotto numbers were: 7, 16, 23, 27, 35, 40 and the bonus ball was 48. While no one won the £2 million jackpot, one lucky player won £1 million after matching the five main numbers plus the bonus ball.

The Thunderball draw took place around 15 minutes later. Tonight’s winning Thunderball numbers were: 2, 7, 20, 23, 28 and the Thunderball was 4.
