Every EuroMillions ticket sold in the UK is assigned a unique Millionaire Maker code.

After the main draw takes place, one (and occasionally more) of these codes is randomly selected, with the matching ticket holder winning £1 million.

As a result, each EuroMillions draw guarantees at least one UK winner of £1 million.
