Where was Netflix’s Jingle Bell Heist filmed? | Films | Entertainment

Netflix’s latest Christmas offering was shot right here in the UK, and fans are eager to discover which London spots made it into the final cut.

Jingle Bell Heist has just dropped on the streaming giant, starring Sex Education’s Connor Swindells and Disney starlet Olivia Holt as the main pair.

Set over the festive season, the rom-com tracks small-time thief Sophia (Holt) and ex-security consultant Nick (Swindells), who join forces to rob a notorious department store.

Sophia, having travelled from the States to care for her ill mother, resorts to pilfering small sums from her boss to cover medical expenses. Meanwhile, Nick is a newly divorced dad struggling to support his young daughter.

When Nick catches Sophia nicking from her workplace, they team up to rob Sterlings London Department Store, run by a dodgy businessman (portrayed by Peter Serafinowicz), reports MyLondon.

Let’s delve into the London locales where this Christmas caper takes place.

One of the few locations easily identifiable in the film is The Victory Pub, situated in Cambridge Heath.

It serves as one of Sophia’s workplaces throughout the film, and is the last scene viewers see before the credits roll.

Those keen to visit can find The Victory at 27 Vyner Street.

Filming for this festive flick kicked off in December 2023, meaning much of London was already decked out to match the plot’s yuletide backdrop.

However, the set team put considerable work into transforming Brixton’s Loughborough Hotel into Sterlings London Department Store.

The former entertainment venue was built around 1900 but its beloved pub closed in the late noughties.

Its grand exterior was completely transformed during filming, with locals spotting filming crew and crowds of extras on the set last January, according to Southwark News.

The nearby Heaven Café was also converted into Atticus Oyster Co., a fictional oyster restaurant that appears within the first few minutes of the film.

Right next to it, viewers catch a glimpse of a clothing shop named L’Atelier de Dorothy.

This appears to be a real-life barbershop located next to the café, which looks completely unrecognisable as the romcom’s posh neighbourhood shop.

Both are situated near the Loughborough Hotel, so those keen to visit won’t have to travel far.
