A plane has crashed near Waterford Airport in Ireland, with police and emergency services rushing to the scene. According to the reports, one person has died during the crash.

The light aircraft came down shortly before 1pm today. It is believed four people were on board at the time. One person has been pronounced dead, and it is believed three other people have been taken by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford at Ardkeen, reports The Irish Times

A Garda spokesperson confirmed to CorkBeo: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision involving a light aircraft at a location near Tramore, Co. Waterford, which occurred at approximately 12.50pm this afternoon, Thursday 20th November 2025. As this is a live and ongoing operation, no further information is available at this time.”
