Relay released earlier this year in cinemas, and has quickly become a sensation on the streaming platform, climbing its way up the charts since being added earlier this week.

As of now, it holds the third spot in the most-watched titles on the service.

Viewers who have already indulged in the movie are expressing surprise at the lack of buzz surrounding its release. The plot centres around a bribe broker, renowned as a top-tier fixer specialising in orchestrating lucrative deals.

These transactions often involve corrupt corporations and potential whistle-blowers threatening to expose their operations.

The broker maintains his anonymity through meticulous planning and adherence to a strict set of rules. However, when he receives a message from a prospective client seeking protection to stay alive, the rules begin to shift, reports the Mirror.

It’s not long before he finds himself breaking his own guidelines, throwing his carefully constructed world into chaos.

The film stars British actor Riz Ahmed, known for his roles in Rogue One, Sound of Metal and Four Lions. He’s joined by Baby Driver’s Lily James and Sam Worthington, who has appeared in the Avatar films and Terminator Salvation.

Relay has earned a respectable 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with an even stronger 89% audience score. Numerous viewers have enthusiastically endorsed the thriller.
