Your home may already be equipped with an Alexa smart speaker, but if the audio is a little underwhelming or the performance is a little laggy due to its age, you might want to consider upgrading to the latest model of Amazon Echo – especially now given it is on sale.

The Echo Dot Max takes the tried and tested formula that previous models of Alexa speaker, with a spherical design, mains power and easy to understand concept of asking the voice assistant to perform certain tasks rather than interacting with a screen or buttons.
As the name suggests, this is the ultimate version of the popular Echo Dot, with Amazon maxing out the audio chops of this latest generation, promising “rich room-filling sound” and 3x more bass power than 2022’s older Echo Dot.
You can connect your Echo Dot Max to Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify and more streaming services to tap into your subscription and play endless tunes, though of course the Echo can also be used to ask the weather, read the headlines, play radio stations, or be used as a smart home control for accessories such as smart lights.
Pick up more than one Echo Dot Max, and they can be paired as a stereo duo to be used as TV speakers, or you can position several throughout your home for multi-room audio (house party, anyone?) or simply to have a voice assistant on hand in the rooms you need it the most.
It’s all set up through the Alexa app for iPhone or Android, and this new advanced Dot Max will play nice with any existing Echo products in your home, so you can build a network of devices.
