Stunning Beats discounts see audio prices plummet in early Black Friday sale
Amazon has finally come out and admitted that Black Friday is here. Until this week, the retailer had not used any Black Friday branding on its ongoing deals, but now some of the later discounts are clearly marked with the moniker. Some such deals are ones we’ve spotted on several pairs of Apple-made Beats earbuds, with prices dipping as low as £43.
The Beats Solo Buds are down to £43 in an ‘Early Black Friday’ offer, a huge saving on their usual £80.

That’s a very good price on a solid pair of buds, speaking from experience. They have booming sound and a tiny charging case, though note they lack noise cancellation.
In fact, I have tested every pair of recent Beats earbuds and headphones, and there are a few more deals on Amazon right now on pairs you should consider if you are in the market for an audio upgrade.
There’s an amazing discount on the Beats Studio Buds+, a more advanced in-ear option. Usually £179.99, they are currently down 53 percent at an amazing £85. I’ve tested them, and they offer very similar features and audio quality to Apple’s AirPods Pro.

The Studio Buds+ have great active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency modes with superior sound quality to the cheaper Solo Buds. Like all Beats buds, they pair well with iphones or Android phones, and come with four ear tip sixes in the box for you to find the best fit. They even last nine hours on a charge before having to pop them back in their charging case, perfect for a work day or long flight.
The great £85 price is available for the black, white or eye-catching transparent version.
If over-ear audio is more your vibe, the Beats Solo 4 are currently just £95, a 52 percent discount down from £199.95. These cans sit on, rather than completely over, your ears, which is something to bear in mind with comfort.

They offer an amazing 50 hours of battery life on a single charge though, which is some of the best longevity I’ve ever tested on a pair of headphones. They also fold down small and come with a neat soft zip carry case. However, there is no noise cancellation on these headphones, which makes them a bit of a tough sell at full price – perhaps this saving tips the balance.
A better all-round over-eat Beats choice is the Beats Studio Pro, which is reduced 57 percent from £349.99 to just £149. That’s a much more palatable price for Beats’ best headphones, with noise cancellation, transparency, 40 hours of battery life, personalised spatial audio (on Apple devices) and lossless audio over USB-C.

If you want to save on the latest Beats, there is even a discount on the latest Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, the fitness-focused Beats earbuds with over-ear hooks to keep them in place.
These clever buds have heart rate sensors that kick in when you are on a workout to track your stats, while delivering audio that’s close to the quality of AirPods Pro, which I found in my review. One of my criticisms was the high price, but this early Black Friday deal for £171 instead of £249.99 makes them a solid choice in orange, purple, black or sand colours.

It’s not clear how long these Beats prices will last, but the label ‘Early Black Friday’ suggests they may not continue on for the whole month, but there’s no way of knowing. Either way, these are excellent discounts.
