If you’re spending a lot of time on your feet, or aim to increase your step count in the new year, a comfy pair of trainers can make a huge difference. When it comes to comfort, Skechers is a bit of a household name, and one pair of trainers has caught our eye thanks to a significant discount on Amazon.

Prices for the Summits Fast Attraction Trainers start at £59 on Amazon, but the shoes have been reduced in select sizes and colourways to as low as £32.13, reports Belfast Live.

The trainers come in a range of shades, including blue, red, and black. At the moment, the white version is currently the most affordable and has the best size availability. They’re available in sizes two to nine, with selected half sizes also available. The most substantial discount is on the white size nine trainers, which are down 46% to £32.12. However, you might want to be quick if you want to snap up your size at a discounted price. The trainers have already changed in price since the weekend and, as is often the case with Amazon deals, they might only be reduced for a short itme. 

The shoes have a breathable mesh upper and the Skechers’ trademark cushioned memory foam insole, which they claim is one of the key elements that provide comfort. The white ones are trimmed with a silver stripe along the side to elevate them from being a simple white trainer. The brand also says they have a shock-absorbing midsole and traction on the sole to minimise the risk of slips and falls, making them a great option for walks and exercise.

Their slip-on design is also ideal for people with limited mobility or those who prefer not to struggle with laces. And, if the idea of keeping white trainers clean is a concern, these ones are machine washable, so when they get dirty, simply pop them in the washing machine, hang them out to dry, and they’ll be back to their former fresh selves.

The trainers have nearly 6,000 reviews on Amazon, with a rating of 4.6 stars out of a possible five. Shoppers are praising them for their comfort, with many saying they are the “most comfortable” trainers they own.

One review said: “The most comfortable shoes. I absolutely love these trainers. They are true to size. They’re really comfortable, the soles are so thick with memory foam, I can only describe it as walking on a cloud. I wear them all day at work with no issues.
