Shoppers save over £100 with Boots pamper box worth £155
Spring is upon us, and after spending months battling the cold, it’s normal to feel in need of a little refresh. If you’re looking to add some new favourites to your routine, Boots has just launched a beauty box that can save you over £100 on body care goodies from brands like Sanctuary Spa, Soap and Glory, and Champneys.
The Boots Pamper Box is packed with £155.50 worth of products for just £45 and has been curated for a head-to-toe pampering experience. Inside, you’ll find 12 products, 11 of them full-size, including everything from body oils and scrubs to hand care products and even a candle. Shoppers save £110.50 on this box, which equates to approximately 71% off the value.
What sets this apart from similar gift boxes is that, instead of creating a whole new routine for the recipient, its contents aim to add to an existing one, with some accessories you can keep using long after the products run out, like a sleep mask and a scrunchie.
With Mother’s Day coming up, the box could also make an excellent treat for a mum deserving of some self-care. It would suit a beauty enthusiast keen to add a few more tools to their arsenal, but it could also work well as a present for someone who doesn’t have a dedicated beauty routine or simply enjoys trying new things.
The box is full of multi-use products, like the Butter Brick Solid Face and Body Cleanser by Mirror Water. This little soap is made with shea butter and can be used all over, as it is formulated for sensitive skin types. It comes in a solid form, eliminating plastic packaging and making it easier to take on trips when you don’t have space for multiple mini bottles.
Another one is The Everything Oil by Luna Daily, which can be used on dry spots like elbows and cuticles, or anywhere that needs extra care. It’s mainly designed for the bikini area and claims to help nourish and soothe the skin while helping with the appearance of ingrown hairs and bumps. It has been formulated with naturally derived ingredients like tamanu oil, jojoba oil and rosehip oil, which promise to soothe, smooth, and reduce inflammation and redness.
If the cold has your skin feeling a little rough, there is also a Sanctuary Spa body scrub to help you along. It has a gel scrub formula scented with rose, ylang-ylang and palmarosa, and the scrubbing is done with natural pumice, avoiding plastic microbeads.
The scrub promises to help gently remove dull skin, and fans say it feels gentle but effective. One wrote: “I use this scrub as it is gentler than some more abrasive scrubs; however, it gently exfoliates and leaves my skin smooth and fragrant.”
If you want to keep the scrub for special occasions, there’s also a body polisher that can be used with your favourite shower gel to gently exfoliate the body.
Once you’ve scrubbed away dead skin, it’s important to moisturise, and the box includes a vanilla-scented body oil from Truly Beauty to lock in hydration. The oil is made with a blend of bakuchiol and niacinamide, which claim to fade marks and help skin appear firmer and smoother by boosting collagen production. It’s scented with vanilla, pear and caramel, and as an extra special touch, it includes a pearlescent shimmer to make your skin shine.
Hand care is often overlooked in gift boxes, but this one includes a couple of fun additions to help you prepare your hands for spring. It includes a three-pack of moisturising hand mask gloves from Champneys. They are filled with a hydrating lotion that’s perfect for targeting winter-ravaged hands, and they smell good too, as they’re scented with sandalwood.
If you don’t have time for a manicure, nail wraps are very trendy at the moment, and there’s a double pack of Mylee Gel Nail Wraps for you to try. These ones come in a classic red shade and promise to be super easy to apply as they require no lamps, polish or drying time.
If your eyes have been feeling tired, there’s also a pack of caffeine-infused undereye patches from Rehab. Retreat that promises to depuff, hydrate and brighten the under-eye area. To define your gaze, there’s also a Colorsport brow tint that can help you feel more put-together without makeup.
My highlights of this gift box are the accessories you get to keep, including a satin sleep mask and a fun, berry-coloured scrunchie. The scrunchie is very interesting, as it’s infused with silver ions that the brand claims help prevent bacteria from growing, keeping it fresher for longer.
As an extra little touch of luxury, there is also a candle from Soap and Glory, scented with rose and bergamot, ideal for adding some ambience to your skincare or body care routine.
