The festive season is firmly in our midst with gifts sets, sparkly dresses and Christmas-themed jumpers decorating the high street. One jumper we’ve spotted from Roman that is subtle yet still celebrates the season is the Festive Sparkly Bow Knit Jumper that comes in three different colours and is as cosy as it is stylish.

Costing £38, the jumper is available in sizes 10 to 20 and is decorated in a glittery bow that neatly compliments its fluffy texture and background colour. For example, its black hue features a bright red bow, while the pink and green colours have a black bow decorating its chest. 

The knit is great for chilly weather as it’s crafted with a funnel neck and elasticated cuffs at the end of its slight balloon sleeves. While it’s perfect for any upcoming Christmas Jumper Days, it’s a great option for any festive parties that require both comfort and class as it’d pair well with a skirt and boots as well as smart trousers and heels.

Measuring at approximately 63cm in length, the jumper is likely to cover the waist and hips and has an elasticated hem to give a bubble-style in the body that is really flattering and ideal for any post-Christmas dinner bloating.

The only downside we can spot is that it doesn’t come in petite or taller lengths, meaning those of smaller or larger stature might not find it fits quite as well. Marks and Spencer’s sizes don’t specify petite or regular for its jumpers, although the brand does have XS and S, which range from 6 to 10, which is available in this ‘Jingle’ embellished jumper (on sale for £24). Just like the Roman jumper, it features this embellishment on its chest. 

Elsewhere, for something a little more obviously Christmassy, New Look’s Petite Green Sequin Christmas Motif Jumper is £27.99 and is decorated in bows, holly, Christmas puddings and more in sequins. 

Although for those who enjoy Roman’s glamorous nod to the festive season with its glittery bow, it’s received a five-star rating from shoppers, with one person saying: “Lovely warm Christmas sweater. Loved wearing this.”

Someone else added: “It caught my eye. Loved the red bow detail on the front,” while a third noted: “It looks very stylish and perfect as a festive jumper.”
