Play Call of Duty Black Ops 7 early thanks to this simple trick | Gaming | Entertainment
Excitement is bubbling ahead of the global release of Call of Duty Black Ops 7 on November 14. Whether it’s the return of Zombies, its flagship online multiplayer mode, or the beloved single-player campaign, there’s so much to do — and every second counts.
Grinding is a time-sensitive business, so in the hope of getting a headstart over other gamers, players are on the lookout for ways to get the new first-person shooter early. Luckily there’s an age-old trick. The Daily Express has everything you need to know.
How to get Call of Duty Black Ops 7 early
All you have to do is change your location to New Zealand, a place where the new Call of Duty and other games typically become available first.
Here’s how to do just that depending on your system:
PlayStation 5
- Go to the Activision website
- Log in to your Activision account
- Click on the ‘Profile’ button
- Click on ‘Basic Info’
- Click on ‘Edit’ next your address
- Add a New Zealand address
- Click on ‘Save’
After you do that, you need to have a PSN account based in New Zealand. Note, this doesn’t always work, as players encountered a few issues with Black Ops 6.
Xbox Series X/S
- Go to the Activision website
- Log in to your Activision account
- Click on the ‘Profile’ button
- Click on ‘Basic Info’
- Click on ‘Edit’ next your address
- Add a New Zealand address
- Click on ‘Save’
Then open the ‘Settings’ on your Xbox, go to ‘System’, select ‘Language & Location’, click on ‘Location’ and then choose New Zealand. Restart your console and voilà, your changes have been saved.
PC
Only PC players that use Xbox to play their games can make a region change. Steam users will have to just wait for release time in their usual time zones.
- Go to the Activision website
- Log in to your Activision account
- Click on the ‘Profile’ button
- Click on ‘Basic Info’
- Click on ‘Edit’ next your address
- Add a New Zealand address
- Click on ‘Save’
Open up your ‘System Settings’ on PC, click on ‘Time & Language’ then ‘Language & Region’. Under the ‘Country or region’ tab, select New Zealand before restarting your PC to save the changes.
