As the season of gatherings and get-togethers begins, it might be time for a grooming routine upgrade. For keeping beards and stubble in check, a good quality electric shaver saves time, is kind to skin, and doesn’t involve the faff of a traditional wet shave.  

Currently, the Philips OneBlade 360 is on sale at Amazon for £34.99, with a significant £20 discount on its usual price of £54.99. Designed for precision and convenience, its efficient cutter — which moves up to 12,000 times a minute according to the brand – makes light work even on longer hair. 

The standout feature of the Philips OneBlade shaver is its 360-degree blade that flexes in all directions. This lets it adapt to the face and neck’s contours for smoother control, even in tricky spots like the jawline or under the chin.

Additionally, the replaceable blade features a dual protection system with a glide coating and rounded tips, which Philips says helps prevent irritation. It’s dual-sided so can be flipped for creating precise edges too. 

The OneBlade 360 comes with an adjustable comb attachment that can be used to create even stubble length from 1mm to 5mm. Also included is an extra replacement blade and a USB-A charging cable — and according to Philips, the battery lasts 60 minutes on a single charge.

Elsewhere, Currys is selling the Braun Series 3 Wet & Dry shaver for £40, down £27.99 from its full price of £67.99. This cordless foil shaver is fully waterproof and can be used to shave, edge, or trim beards using its three foil blades that flex to the contours of the face. According to the brand, a single battery charge lasts up to 30 minutes. For an even cheaper choice, buyers could go for the Philips PQ206 dry electric shaver sold at Argos for £14.99 — currently 20% off from £19.99. This compact shaver is perfect for throwing in a washbag, has self-sharpening blades, and is powered by two AA batteries that the brand says should deliver 60 minutes of usage.

Back to the Philips OneBlade 360, the electric shaver has impressive reviews on Amazon, where it’s currently rated 4.4/5 with over 8,600 reviews. One customer said, as part of a longer review: “The Philips OneBlade 360 is one of the best grooming tools I’ve ever owned. The new 360 blade design makes a huge difference — it glides smoothly over every curve of my face, even in tricky spots like under the jawline and around the chin.” 

A second added: “Excellent piece of kit, did my hair and shave no problem, would recommend this to all men whatever their age.” A third chimed in, adding: “Never looking back after using this. It is great, really great in every way. Halves my shaving time at least. Charge lasts a good few shaves, doesn’t snag and snatch your hair.
