Dune trilogy director Denis Villeneuve and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight are set to helm the James Bond reboot over at Amazon MGM Studios.

But just who will be cast in the first new 007 reveal in over 20 years, following Daniel Craig way back in 2005?

28 Years Later star Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been the bookies’ favourite for months, but now there’s a new No 1.

According to Bookmaker Coral, there has been strong interest in Callum Turner over the last 24 hours, resulting in his odds being slashed from 7-4 to 5-2.

The 35-year-old British star of the upcoming fantasy rom-com Eternity also happens to be Dua Lipa’s fiancée, so perhaps she could sing his first Bond theme if cast?

Coral’s John Hill said: “We’ve been knocked over with support for Callum Turner in our next James Bond betting over the last 24 hours. The British actor is now the red-hot favourite for the role.”

Take it all with a pinch of salt, but also in the running are: “3-1 Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 3-1 Theo James, 6-1 Henry Cavill, 10-1 Anthony Boyle, 12-1 Harris Dickinson, 16-1 Jack Lowden, 16-1 James Norton.”
