After the festive and new year celebrations, Xbox‘s annual Countdown sale has finished. But immediately as it ends, two new sales have dropped on the console store.

The Beyond Countdown sale has a huge amount of discounts for add-ons and downloadable content, not least for some of the biggest releases in recent years. The Last Chance sale for Xbox Game Pass subscribers offers up some special deals to those players, too. Both landed on Thursday, January 8.

Each sale is giving gamers a few more days to grab a deal with whatever’s left of their Christmas cash. Arguably the best deal to be picked up is a special edition of one of 2025’s best role-playing games.

Named by PC Gamer as their Game of the Year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was also nominated for best narrative and best RPG at The Game Awards 2025. The game’s Royal Edition, which includes the expansion pass, The Lion’s Crest bonus quest and the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit is usually £80 via the Xbox store.

But Game Pass subscribers can make a whopping 50% saving as part of the Last Chance sale, which knocks the price all the way down to £39.99. Buying each of these add-ons would cost more than £30 usually, and although they’re each on sale, too, it still represents a great deal for Xbox gamers.

The game that started it all is also on sale, as the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance has a whopping % off, bringing it all the way down to just £6.99 with Game Pass. Other games with huge savings include Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe edition, which is a third off at £54.99, and the Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 bundle, which is 60% cheaper at £39.99.

Meanwhile, the Beyond Countdown sale offers some major DLC releases at similarly wallet-friendly prices. The Claws of Awji expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is 30% cheaper, now costing £14,69, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s add-on, The Order of Giants, is a quarter less costly at £13.49.

The Xbox Beyond Countdown Sale runs until Wednesday, January 21, while the Game Pass Last Chance sale ends on Wednesday, January 14. A list of selected discounts can be found below:
