Give your old phone to Samsung and get the Galaxy S25 Ultra for £639
Samsung has started the Black Friday party early with a surprise sale that is far more generous than you might expect, given the famous Black Friday offer day is not until November 28.
Until 11:59pm UK time on Tuesday November 4, Samsung is offering 20 percent off many of its popular Galaxy devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25 Plus and S25, as well as the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
Not all Galaxy devices are included in this early Black Friday sale, but you can save hundreds on some of the best Samsung gadgets around, with even the recently released Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra included in the discounts.
To take advantage, head over to Samsung’s website to see which products are on offer. Using the code UNLOCK at checkout on eligible devices will take an immediate 20 percent off the RRP.
To make the offers even more enticing, Express.co.uk can confirm Samsung is letting you stack another offer on top of the 20 percent discount to bag yourself a true bargain.
The most eye-catching deal is for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This superlative Samsung phone usually retails for £1,249, but Samsung will knock up to £450 off this price when you trade in your existing smartphone.
If you trade in a working Galaxy S24 Ultra, the firm will give you £450 in credit, which will take the S25 Ultra down to a more palatable £799. You can then apply the 20 percent offer on top of that, which reduces the price to £639.20. That’s less than half price on one of the best Android phones you can currently buy.
Express.co.uk’s technology editor Dave Snelling gave the S25 Ultra a resoundingly positive 4.5 star review on its release earlier this year, praising the device’s premium design, fast Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, superlative quad cameras, long battery life and excellent, large OLED screen.
Of course, not all of us have an S24 Ultra ready to trade in to get such a discount. But Samsung is offering hundreds off on several other phones, such as up to £371 off when you trade in a Galaxy S23 Ultra, £212 for the regular Galaxy S23, or up to £200 for an iPhone 13 Pro.
It’s well worth checking what price you could get when combining the trade-in and 20 percent discount offer, as you could be in for a real bargain. Samsung will even give you at least £100 off for any smartphone traded in in any condition, even if it is broken.
According to Samsung’s website, you could even get the Galaxy S25 FE for as little as £325 when you trade in, which would go down to £260 with the extra 20 percent off applied.
As with all the deals, it very much depends what phone you are trading in and what Samsung will give you for it.
Of course, if you have no device to trade in, you can still claim a straight 20 percent discount on any eligible device. Samsung is running this early Black Friday sale until 11:59pm on Tuesday November 4, 2025.
