Forget your 4K TV, Sony confirms game-changing screen upgrade
Anyone looking for a better gaming experience might want to check out Sony’s latest accessory. The famous tech and TV brand has just announced the launch of a new screen that’s not built for a Netflix binge but for a night of button-bashing instead. It’s called the INZONE M10S II, and it comes full of action-packed upgrades, including premium OLED performance and a rapid refresh rate, which should help those who game competitively keep pace with their online rivals.
Sony says its INZONE M10S II has also been designed to minimise brightness loss while delivering a clearer image, and a new Super Anti-glare Film has been added, which ensures glare-free visibility.
Plus, with an up to 720Hz HD refresh rate, owners can also prioritise resolution or display refresh rate to suit their gaming needs.
Sony is promising that its INZONE M10S II is also perfect for tournament gameplay with the ability to switch between a full-size 27″ (1440p) display and a 24.5″ (1332p/1080p) tournament mode.
Other extras include a stand for maximum flexibility, thanks to its wide tilt range, and a design that allows users to freely position their keyboard and mouse however they like. Its centred weight also keeps it compact and at it measures in at just 4mm thin.
For added peace of mind, the screen comes with a 3-year warranty and OLED protection, including heat management features that make sure the monitor stays cool and performs flawlessly over time.
It sounds impressive, but so it should, considering the price. The INZONE M10S II is priced at £1,199.
Along with that screen, Sony has also confirmed the release of new gaming headphones. The INZONE H6 Air features an open-back acoustic design that’s lightweight, helping with long gaming sessions.
Impressive sound makes sure the on-screen action sounds as good as it looks, with Sony promising a more accurate and realistic experience.
Another bonus is the “RPG/Adventure” equaliser profile. This has been developed with sound designers from PlayStation Studios at Sony Interactive Entertainment, who produce audio for PlayStation games.
This profile applies audio processing optimised for RPG and Adventure game titles, recreating the acoustic experience of a sound studio and delivering an overwhelmingly immersive listening experience.
Finally, the INZONE H6 Air also features an adjustable cardioid mic delivering a clear and natural voice. The cardioid boom mic focuses on voice and is angled towards the user’s mouth to eliminate side noise and the long, flexible arm stays where it is set.
