Black Friday doesn’t officially take place until November 28, but that hasn’t stopped countless retailers from launching early sales ahead of the big day.

Evercade’s range of retro game cartridges and hardware are among the items that have been discounted for Black Friday 2025.

So if you’re in the market for some retro gaming goodies for yourself or as Christmas gifts, then we’ve picked out some of Evercade’s biggest and best discounts.

Hyper Mega Tech Super Pocket Handhelds

The Hyper Mega Tech Super Pocket handhelds are a highlight of the entire Evercade range. Resembling a classic Game Boy, these devices come with a variety of pre-installed games, as well as the ability to play Evercade cartridges.

They’re also small enough to fit in the pocket, but big enough to provide a solid gaming experience for the vast majority of classic games.

The Hyper Mega Tech Taito Super Pocket is one of the better options available, containing 17 games like Space Invades, Bubble Bobble, Elevator Action, Bust-A-Move 2, The New Zealand Story and Rastan.

The perfect gift for retro gaming fans, the Taito Super Pocket is currently available for the discounted price of £39.99 from Argos.

Amazon, meanwhile, is selling the Data East Super Pocket for £39.99, which is down from the regular price of £49.99. This contains BurgerTime, which is one of my personal favourite retro games.

Even better is the NEOGEO Super Pocket at JD Williams, where it costs £39.99. This contains 14 arcade classics, including Metal Slug X, Fatal Fury Special and Samurai Showdown II.

But my personal favourite Super Pocket handheld is the Capcom model, which features iconic games such as Street Fighter 2, Ghouls and Ghosts, Mega Man and Final Fight. Argos is selling the Capcom Super Pocket for £39.99.

Evercade EXP-R Tomb Raider bundle

The company’s flagship handheld device, the Evercade EXP-R makes up for a lack of built-in games by providing a bigger display that’s better suited for some of the more modern Evercade games. That’s on top of a superior control layout for a more comfortable experience.

The Evercade EXP-R even comes with a copy of the Tomb Raider Collection Volume 1, which contains the original Lara Croft trilogy.

Amazon is currently selling the Evercade EXP-R Tomb Raider bundle for £79.99, which is down from the traditional £99.99 asking price.

Evercade Cartridges

While not all Evercade cartridges have been discounted for Black Friday, there are some heavy-hitters available at a reduced price for a limited time.

Amazon probably has the best selection of cut price Evercade cartridges, including Tomb Raider Collection Volume 2 for £17.99.

That’s on top of discounts on Morphcat Games Volume 1, Jaleco Volume 1, both Intellivision collections and more.

JD Williams also has a decent number of deals, including Toaplan Arcade 2 and Toaplan Arcade 4, as well as Legacy of Kain Collection, Gremlin Collection 2 and Worms Collection 1.
