The Ministry of Defence said in a statement: “UAE air defenses (March 11, 2026) dealt with 6 ballistic missiles, 7 cruise missiles, and 39 drones coming from Iran.

“Since the start of the brazen Iranian aggression, UAE air defenses have dealt with 268 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,514 drones.

“These attacks resulted in 6 deaths of Emirati, Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationalities, and 131 cases of minor to moderate injuries among Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, and Indonesian nationalities.

“The Ministry of Defense affirms that it is on high alert and readiness to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that targets the destabilization of the state, ensuring the preservation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its interests and national capabilities.”
