The Perfume Shop has recently launched a trio of scents whose fragrance – and names – draw inspiration from the Bridgerton universe, capturing the programme’s characteristic blend through three distinct profiles suited to both daily use and memorable events. What’s more is all three scents are on sale, bringin gthem down to £29.99.

Aptly named, the first is Dearest Rebel Vanilla (a play on the show’s motto ‘Dearest Gentle Reader’) which is currently £29.99 reduced from £42. With an ambery floral composition that combines rose, gardenia and jasmine with a warm, luxurious vanilla, it’s been crafted to deliver a bold yet sweet statement. Described as a ‘love letter to refinement’, the bottle features a noble crest that mirrors the legacy of aristocratic circles, according to the retailer.

Dearest Tempting Peach, available at the same price point, has a more fruity leaning with notes of peach, mango and mandarin in an elegant ‘chypre fruity’ arrangement that feels lively yet sophisticated.

Finally, Dearest Graceful Hydrangea, priced at £29.99 down from £42 also provides a gentler, more subtle option. It blends hydrangea and other delicate florals with blackcurrant, cedarwood and praline for a floral woody conclusion with understated sweetness and complexity.

If notes of jasmine and bergamot are a better fit, the Versace Woman Eau De Parfum (50ml) is currently £35, reduced from £70, available on LookFantastic’s website. This fragrance opens with notes of frangipani, jasmine and bergamot, followed by heart notes of lotus, prune and raspberry, before finishing with base notes of musk, amber and hinoki wood, reports the Mirror.

Argos, meanwhile, stocks the Armani SI Eau de Parfum (30ml) for £65, featuring top notes of cassis, heart notes of May rose and freesia, and base notes of vanilla, patchouli and ambroxan.

However, the Bridgerton fragrances have been very highly regarded by perfume fans, with one customer remarking about the Rebel scent: “This perfume is so beautiful and very impressed with the quality and the packaging. Is very elegant and chic. The uniqueness of my Rebel Vanilla is amazing. The fragrance is unique and the smell stays strong long on my skin.”

Another added: “I love this fragrance! It’s a warm floral vanilla that smells like a love letter to yourself when you’re wearing it. It sprays evenly and lasts all day – with the floral lingering most on my skin. I felt romantic and beautiful when wearing this and got many compliments.”

Some reviewers were slightly less enthusiastic, deducting a star due to its scent not being quite right for them. Regarding the Tempting Peach fragrance, one person said: “This fragrance has a very sweet scent without much depth. It settled down quickly and isn’t overly peachy, it’s more just the sweetness, but it is nice and lasts a long time.

“The packaging matches the Bridgerton aesthetic and would be great for a younger teenager or someone who’s into the show. Overall, this scent was a bit too sweet for me but I could see it being liked by others.”

Another commented: “This has a really light a summer sweet smell. I don’t get a strong sense of peaches as the title would suggest, but it is still a great feminine a sweet scent.”

Nevertheless, the majority of feedback proved favourable, with another saying: “This perfume is so good! First the bottle is super cute, the smell so delicate and sweet that is just perfect for any occasion. It is also long lasting which is the perfect combination of a good smell that will last a long while.”
