Boots has officially kicked off its Black Friday Sale, with reductions on thousands of items across premium beauty, fragrance, electricals, and gift sets.
Black Friday isn’t officially until November 28 this year, but Boots has launched its sale about a month early. If you’ve had your eye on some big-name products or want to get ahead on your Christmas gift shopping, the event is a great way to do so and save some money in the process.
Liverpool Echo writer Bethan Shufflebotham worked at Boots before she became a journalist, and has picked out the best deals on offer. To help shoppers find the best deals, she has outlined where and how they can get the most value for their money.
From makeup to skincare, many items offer substantial savings—some even at half price or better. The sale is live until the end of November, but some of the best deals could sell out quickly.

One of Bethan’s top picks is the Remington straighteners, which are discounted by £50. The Almond Allure Straightener has been slashed from £69.99 to £19.99. These straighteners have ceramic plates infused with almond oil-enriched micro-conditioners, designed to leave hair soft, shiny, and smooth. They claim to help users create sleek, salon-quality styles at home, whether that’s straightening or even curling and waving.
Another gadget that’s now more than half off is the Braun Silk-épil 9 Epilator, which has been discounted from £219.99 to just £99.99. The epilator has 40 tweezers that claim to remove even the smallest hairs (as small as 0.5mm) for up to four weeks of smoothness. It’s suitable for both wet and dry use, making it suitable for use in the bath or shower for a gentler experience.
If you’re more interested in skincare savings, Bethan predicts this Estée Lauder Skincare Superstars Beauty of the Night Gift Set “will fly off the shelves”. It’s worth £149, but is priced at £50, saving shoppers almost £100.
This limited-edition set includes enough products to cleanse, hydrate, and treat the skin for a radiant, youthful glow. Inside, you can find some of Estée Lauder’s most iconic products, including the legendary Advanced Night Repair Serum, Eye Supercharged Gel Crème, and Revitalising Supreme+ Moisturiser. Whether it’s given as a gift or bought as a self-care treat, this one’s a winner.
Aftershave always makes a great gift, and Boots has discounted a number of popular scents for Black Friday, with some even better than half price. A 100ml bottle of Boss Orange Man Eau de Toilette is now £31, reduced from £70.
This warm, woody fragrance has notes of red apple, coriander, incense, Sichuan pepper, and vanilla. One review described it as “lovely fresh and clean smelling with soft notes of orange”.

Boots has released a range of budget-friendly beauty boxes in recent years, with new ones arriving every month or so. Currently, there are a couple on offer, including a K-Beauty edit for fans of Korean skincare.
Priced at £35, it’s worth £89.03 and includes a range of viral and innovative brands, such as Anua and Biodance.
Alternatively, there’s the Boots Autumn Warmers Beauty Box, priced at £45, which is valued at over £205, meaning customers save more than £160. This collection includes 11 beauty essentials, featuring eight full sizes from No7, Neom Wellbeing, Sol De Janeiro and more.

According to Bethan, the best place at Boots to look for Christmas presents is the regularly updated Star Gifts, which feature weekly offers on brands like Benefit, Soap and Glory, and No7, to name a few.
“The first place I always look for Christmas presents is the Boots Star Gifts, which regularly showcase rotating deals on brands such as Benefit, Soap and Glory, and No7, to name a few,” she said.
Each year, one of the most coveted Star Gifts comes from Bobbi Brown, and this year, their Ultimate Glow Up Kit, worth £148, is on offer for £49, saving you an impressive £99 on the contents. “Frankly, I’m amazed it hasn’t been snapped up already,” Bethan wrote.
Inside, there are four full-sized products, including the much-adored Vitamin Enriched Face Base 50ml, which typically sells for £54 alone. Also included is a dual-ended cream eyeshadow stick, full-sized mascara, and a lip gloss – everything you need to create a stunning glam look for the festive season.
All these items average out at £12.25 each as part of the deal.
Another standout Star Gift currently available online is the Benefit I Spy Beauty Gift Set. For £34.50, you can get a set of six mini Benefit products, which is almost half off their original value of £69.19. The set includes a mini volumising mascara, rose blush, bronzer, fun-size pore primer, lip and cheek stain, and brow setting gel.
In addition to Star Gifts, Boots is introducing exclusive Beauty Icons sets for 2025. Over the next few weeks, the health and beauty retailer will unveil 16 exclusive branded gift sets from top and trending brands, available only at Boots.
The first of these sets was the £35 Boots X NARS Beauty Icons Gift Set, valued at £76.44. Presented in a chic black makeup bag, it includes a full-size lip balm, cheek tint and pressed powder. However, at the time of writing, the set is currently sold out. Boots haven’t confirmed if it will be restocked, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
If you’ve always wanted to try cult-favourite clean beauty brand Drunk Elephant, there’s also the Boots X Drunk Elephant Beauty Icons Gift Set for £35. The set, worth £69, features a trio of favourites from the brand, and comes ready-to-gift in a luxurious zip bag, containing a full-size bottle of the D-Bronzi drops worth £35 alone.
Advent calendars

Boots has released two beauty Advent calendars (Image: Boots)
Beauty Advent calendars are an excellent way to expand your makeup and skincare collection for less. Many offer four times the amount of products for the price you pay, and Boots has plenty.
The high street favourite has launched two premium yet relatively budget-friendly offerings for 2025, including a skincare countdown and beauty calendar. While some calendars cost between £200 and £250, Boots’ options are priced at £70 and £150, offering an impressive array of popular and trending products at an affordable price.
For those who love luxury makeup products, the Boots 24 Day Premium Beauty Advent Calendar is a great choice. Priced at £150, it includes 25 products spread across 24 days (one day comes with two items) with a total value of £612.50, saving an amazing £462.50 overall.
Of the 25 items, 17 are full-sized, including a curated blend of skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare from some of the industry’s biggest names. Expect cult classics from Elemis, Estee Lauder, and MAC, alongside trending powerhouses like Sol de Janeiro and Milk Makeup.
For those who prefer a skincare-only option, Boots has reintroduced the 24 Days of Skincare Advent Calendar for a second year. Priced at £70, it’s a perfect choice for those who don’t wish to spend over £100 on a calendar but still want that same sense of luxury and indulgence.
Valued at £289, it saves £219 on a complete skincare ritual of 24 products, of which an impressive 20 are full-sized.
Boots is preparing to stock more than 40 advent calendars this year. In addition to their premium offerings mentioned above, they also offer their highly sought-after No7 calendars, with both more affordable and higher-end options available. Furthermore, they feature their beloved Macmillan charity advent calendar, which includes brands like Soap and Glory and Liz Earle.
The calendar has raised over £149,000 since 2021, and is currently on offer for £44, down from £90.
Three for Two
Boots’ three for two mix and match deal continues to be a hit with Christmas shoppers. To maximise savings, it’s recommended to select products that are similarly priced and ensure your basket can be divided by three so you don’t miss out on any deals.
Boots will arrange all your gifts in price order, from highest to lowest, offering every third item free. So if you have 12 items in the three for two offer, then the third, sixth, ninth and 12th will be free when arranged in price order, saving you from unnecessary spending.
£10 Tuesday
Finally, Boots hosts its £10 Tuesday event each week, where a variety of beauty products are reduced to £10 on, of course, Tuesdays. The products change weekly, but typically include anti-ageing champions, moisturisers and more from big-name brands like Olay, No7 and Nivea.
Shoppers can find the £10 Tuesday deals here.
