With Christmas fast approaching, the season of office parties and festive dinners is upon us. If you haven’t got your partywear sorted, many retailers’ Black Friday sales are still going on, and we’ve spotted some great deals over at Roman, including some fabulous party dresses.  As part of their sale, there is up to 70% off, plus you can currently take an extra 10% off with an additional discount code. 

There are countless options in the sale, but a highlight for me is the midi lace dress that shoppers are already snapping up for their Christmas parties.

The dress originally cost £60, and comes in five shades, four of which are on sale with a 25% to 30% reduction. But you can save an extra 10% by using the code BF10 at checkout.

The best deal is on the green metallic shade, which works out to £36 with the extra 10% discount. The code brings the red, burgundy, and green leaf versions of the dress down to £40.50 each, and the black (which is not on sale) down to £54.

Sizes range from 8 to 20 in green metallic and 10 to 20 in all other shades. However, shoppers should note that size 10 is currently out of stock in the green metallic colour. 

The dress combines an elegant silhouette with cap sleeves and a lace finish for a more formal touch, while the wintry colours available could work for any event. It’s fitted at the top and flares out at the knees, creating a flattering shape, while the flared hem adds a fun touch.

This is a perfect party dress that I think would pair well with some sparkly accessories and a pair of heels. 

One shopper has called it “a lovely new dress for Christmas Day”, while another said: “Very comfortable, waiting for a Christmas do to wear it.”

Others were pleased with how the dress fit, with one fan saying: “Fits me just like on the model…It’s elegant, flattering, but not revealing.”

“I was the belle of the ball,” said another, adding, “It fits great, and you look slim.”
