Amazon is currently stocking its popular security device for just £49.99 – that’s instead of the standard £99.99 price.

It’s even the latest model, which features full head-to-toe video recording, simple five-minute installation, HD video recording and long battery life. It even comes with a 30-day Ring Subscription Plan for free.

For those not in the know, this Ring Doorbell mounts on the front of homes and streams live video of what’s happening outside.

It will send alerts to the owner’s smartphone should someone press the doorbell button, and there is even a speaker inside which offers a two-way conversation to take place.

Colour Night Vision technology comes included, which makes sure pin-sharp footage is shot even when the sun goes down.

It’s even possible to fine-tune alerts so that it only sends warnings when packages are delivered or when humans walk onto the driveway.

The only slight catch is to get the most out of this device – including storing recordings – you will need a subscription plan with prices starting from £4.99 per month.
