Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they had struck steel and aluminium facilities in Gulf countries linked to the United States, according to state media.

They described the attacks as a warning, adding that if Iranian industries are targeted again, Tehran’s next response would be even more severe.

“You ignored our repeated warnings about the need to halt terrorist operations, and today, as a result of terrorist attacks carried out by you and your Israeli allies, a number of Iranian citizens were martyred.

“Since the primary element in the design and tracking of assassination targets is American ICT and AI companies, in response to these terrorist operations, from now on the main institutions effectively involved in terrorist operations will be considered our legitimate targets.”
