Police, firefighters and paramedics swarm Salford road | UK | News
One person has been arrested following an incident in Salford on Sunday afternoon involving a car and two pedestrians.
The pedestrians aren’t believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
Greater Manchester Police said: “Two pedestrians, a male and a female, have been injured. At this stage, their injuries are not believed to be life‑threatening and are currently reported as minor.
“A significant road closure has been in place to support emergency services and investigative work. This closure remains in effect but is expected to be lifted within the next hour.
“Enquiries continue. The driver has been arrested on suspicion of attempted Section 18 assault, and their medical state is currently being assessed.”
