A massive fire has broken out at an industrial park, prompting the closure of a major A-road and a warning to residents. Firefighters are responding on Wednesday afternoon to a fire at the Q Park industrial estate in South Woodchester. While the emergency crews are dealing with the fire, residents have been asked to keep their doors and windows closed due to the smoke coming from the area. Moreover, the A46 has been closed in both directions from Station Road to the Culver Hill junction. 

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said in a first statement on the incident: “We are responding to a fire at the Q Park industrial estate in South Woodchester. The A46 has been closed in both directions from Station Road to the Culver Hill junction at this time. We advise residents to keep windows and doors closed due to the amount of smoke from the fire.”
