Argos shoppers are grabbing £450 discount on huge Samsung Galaxy rival

Samsung might rule the roost when it comes to foldable smartphones, but there is now plenty of competition from rival technology firms. Google is just one manufacturer that has launched flexible flagships, and the tech giant’s latest Pixel 10 Pro Fold has suddenly become a lot more affordable. When it was first announced last year, it cost a whopping £1,749 – ouch!

However, thanks to a new deal from Argos, that price has plummeted by £450 to a more reasonable £1,299.

Yes, that’s still expensive, but buyers do get a lot for their money. The deal appears to be going down well with Argos confirming that it’s “popular” and “in demand”.

So what do you get on this device? The Pixel 10 Pro Fold features a standard 6.4-inch display on the front that opens like a book to reveal a more expansive 8-inch tablet-style Flex screen.

This makes it ideal for watching box sets on the move, browsing the web, gaming or multitasking on that bigger panel. It’s powered by the latest Tensor G5 processor, making things feel silky smooth, and it’s covered in toughened glass for added durability.

It also gets 24-hour battery life and features wireless charging for hassle-free refills.

A smart camera on the rear case ensures every photo is taken by a pro, and it has Google’s Gemini assistant baked in.

This means users can chat with the device and get comprehensive answers. Google’s clever software can also remove objects from photos and search the web just by circling an image on the screen.

The model Argos is selling at a lower price comes in a striking Jade colour, which helps to make it stand out from the crowd.

Argos isn’t the only store selling the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at that new lower price, with Amazon also joining the party.
