The barbarism and ill-discipline of Vladimir Putin’s troops have been revealed in shocking new footage, showing two Russian soldiers taped to trees in bitter sub-zero temperatures on the front line. The pair – one seen only wearing underwear, the other with long-sleeved shorts and underwear – are clearly shaking from the cold as they suffer the hellish punishment.

The quivering fighters were apparently accused of stealing drugs from their commander, whose callsign is Gadyuka. Ukrainian military analyst and blogger Yuriy Butusov said the footage shows a “field tribunal of the [Russian] pig army, where they are trained to treat one another like animals, so that later they will treat all other people like animals”. Reports say drugs are widespread among Putin’s fighters, who are forced into cannon fodder assaults, and brutal punishments are also common.

“Well, you swines, you smoked the commander’s weed [cannabis],” the foul-mouthed voice that is recording the punishment is heard saying.

“It was Viper’s weed, you *****. ****ing *******, swines.”

The tethered men are told: “Stand there and freeze!”

The fate of the two men remains unknown. The location of the Russian-on-Russian torture is also not clear, and it may have been recorded earlier in the winter.

“Both men are shaking as they are clearly dead cold,” said Butusov. “Their [arms] look bluish.”

They had been tied up in the cold for a while by the time the footage was recorded, he added.

This shocking revelation comes as further horrifying footage has emerged from Vladimir Putin‘s Russia showing naked bodies being thrown into an open trench at a cemetery. The video shows funeral workers wearing jackets marked “Cargo 200” disposing of nameless bodies at the Vysokoye cemetery in Prokopyevsk, in the Kemerovo region of Siberia. The men open flimsy wooden coffins, placing naked corpses inside.

Then they tip the coffins into a mass grave. As they fall, coffins overturn or break apart, causing bodies to spill out into the pit.
