Where to find the Stick of Truth location in Fortnite Chapter 7 | Gaming | Entertainment
The South Park x Fortnite collaboration continues after arriving in the game late last week. Not only did the update introduce a bunch of South Park-themed cosmetics, but it also added a new Mythic Item that’s super powerful in the final stages of a match – the Stick of Truth.
Only appearing in unranked Battle Royale matches, this new item has proven to be a vital piece of equipment for those on the hunt for Victory Royale’s in the past week. However, it’s not super clear where to find it as there’s no set spawn location.
Here’s what you need to look out for to find the Stick of Truth in a Fortnite match right now:
Where to find the Stick of Truth in Fortnite
The Stick of Truth doesn’t appear right away when you first load into an unranked Fortnite match, so you can’t immediately drop to where it is from the Battle Bus. Instead, you’ll need to play the match as normal for a few minutes first.
Once the item spawns in, you’ll get a notification of a Rift Anomaly. When it appears, open up your map and look out for a small icon on the map in the shape of a stick.
This denotes where to find the Stick of Truth.
However, be warned – this icon is now visible to everyone in the match and will likely be contested by a large number of players. Only head for the Stick of Truth if you know you’ve got the firepower to take it should you come across enemies.
That being said, it’s certainly worth acquiring the Stick of Truth if you can. It’s a super powerful Mythic Item for the end of matches as it allows you to manipulate where the final circle will finish.
Once the Stick of Truth is used, it will cause the final circle to move to wherever it’s activated. This can be used in a variety of different ways, like forcing enemies to come towards you, or baiting them into thinking you’re somewhere you’re not.
Either way, the Stick of Truth can be incredibly powerful in the right hands – especially since only one spawns per match. The good news is that it can be looted from enemy players if they’ve acquired and not yet used it.
If you do come across the Stick of Truth, though, hold on to it as long as you can. It could be the difference between a win and a loss.
