Arc Raiders update 1.11.0 is live and it’s bad news for Kettle and Trigger ‘Nade fans | Gaming | Entertainment
The latest Arc Raiders update is currently being rolled out on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam).
The first update of 2026 – which is version 1.11.0 – doesn’t make a huge number of changes, but it does make some tweaks to a couple of different weapons.
This includes balance changes to the Kettle semi-automatic Assault Rifle, and the Trigger ‘Nade bomb.
As you can see from the patch notes further down the page, it’s not good news for fans of the aforementioned weapons, because developer Embark Studios has reduced their effectiveness.
The Kettle, for example, has seen its fire rate reduced from 600 to 450. According to Embark, this is because the previous fire rate was only achievable using third-party software.
The Trigger ‘Nade, meanwhile, is less effective as a “trigger-in-air” grenade, and more effective as a sticky bomb. The damage has been rebalanced to deal more damage closer to the centre of the explosion. Detonation time has also been increased, which gives opponents more time to react.
The update also coincides with the release of the Abyss cosmetic set, as well as the Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool.
The latter is a free gift for everybody who has logged in since launch until January 13.

Arc Raiders update 1.11.0 patch notes…
Kettle
• Reduced fire rate from 600 to 450.
– The previous fire rate was only realistically reachable by players using macros, which creates an unfair dynamic that favours using third party software.
Trigger ‘Nade
– Trigger ‘Nade currently dominates PVP encounters, and players favour picking it over all our other grenades.
– This nerf aims to make it less usable as a “trigger-in-air” grenade, whilst keeping its usefulness as a sticky bomb.
– Damage falloff has been rebalanced to concentrate the damage closer to the centre of the explosion, and deal less damage further away.
– The delay between triggering the grenade and it detonating, has been increased from 0.7s to 1.5s, giving players more time to react, and making it harder to time the detonation in air.
Other fixes and changes
• Fixed a key card exploit that allowed players to keep room keys after using them.
• Lighting has been lowered in some areas on Stella Montis Night Raid making flashlights and listening more relevant.
