Yesterday marked what would have been Elvis Presley’s 91st birthday.

The King had many girlfriends across his short 42 years, and his most major lover after divorcing Priscilla Presley was Linda Thompson, who was skipped over entirely in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic.

The Miss Tennessee model lived with the star at Graceland from 1972 until 1976 and continues to pay tribute to him on her official Instagram to this day.

In a special birthday post featuring a ton of couple photos, the 75-year-old shared a sweet message of remembrance for her old flame.

Linda wrote: “‘I’ll Remember You’ always… Happy Heavenly Birthday to the true legend Elvis Presley. He was once my idol, my crush… then my first love. The one you never forget. Four and a half years of living with him helped to shape my life forever. We shared everything with each other…including frivolity, passion, secrets, trust, heartache…hard truths… And always the deepest love and respect for one another. Those indelible memories of so much intimate time spent together can never be taken away from me. I hope Elvis is sharing his incomparable voice with the angels in heaven…”
