Virgin Media is dishing out ultimate broadband upgrades at ‘lowest ever’ prices
If your broadband is feeling a little sluggish, it might be worth checking out the very latest deals from Virgin Media. The Internet Service Provider (ISP) is currently running a promotion, with customers able to sign up for super-fast downloads and pay a lot less. In fact, Virgin is promising that its latest deals offer the ‘lowest ever’ prices on certain plans.
Currently, those joining the firm can enjoy fast 264Mbps downloads for £23.99 per month, or opt for even faster 516Mbps downloads for £27.99 per month. Those wanting the ultimate internet access will pay just £30.99 for rapid 1Gbps. At that rate, it would take under 40 seconds to download a full HD movie which is over 10 times faster than the UK average.
As a quick guide, BT currently wants £34.99 for 900Mbps access, which is £4 more per month than Virgin’s best speeds.

All of these deals are good, but they do require users to sign up for a 24-month contract. There are also yearly price hikes to contend with, as well. Virgin recently confirmed that things will increase by £4 every April.

Vodafone also has some pretty reasonable prices right including 150Mbps speeds for £23 per month and 500Mbps for £25 per month.
Opt for the quickest 910Mbps access, and you’ll pay just £30 per month.

Once again, it’s worth noting that Vodafone’s prices will also increase every April.
Finally, don’t forget to check out smaller so-called alternative networks, as these providers will often offer very good prices in certain regions of the UK. For example, Community Fibre has fast 300Mbps speeds for £21 per month or 1Gbps downloads for £25 per month.
These prices are also locked, which means you won’t face any price hikes.
