Where to buy Claudia Winkleman’s exact wrist warmers

BBC’s The Traitors is back on our screens, and Claudia Winkleman has once again proven why she’s one of the most stylish presenters on television. Dressing appropriately for the chilly Scottish Highlands, she wore a pair of her trademark fingerless gloves, which have now become as iconic as her full fringe and signature eyeliner. Luckily, her stylist, Sinead McKeefry, has revealed where fans can purchase the exact pair worn by the host in the first episode of the latest season, which premiered on Wednesday, January 1.

Sharing the details of Claudia’s outfit on Instagram, the stylist said the TV star’s wrist warmers were made by Scottish luxury brand Brora, which is known for its high-quality cashmere and wool knits.

The £65 gloves are made from soft cashmere and come in 10 shades. Fans can emulate Claudia’s style with the classic black pair, or add a splash of colour to their outfit with options in red, blue, pink or green.

Sinead’s tip has come just in time, as the wrist warmer gloves are an ideal accessory for the colder temperatures sweeping the UK, especially with much of the country experiencing snow over the weekend, reports the Daily Record.

They are perfect for keeping hands and wrists toasty whilst leaving fingers free to scroll through smartphones, do up buttons and zips, or grip a dog lead during chilly walks.

Brora customers are delighted with their wrist warmers, with one buyer praising them as “cosy and luxurious”.

Another customer said: “Beautifully soft and very warm, these will be a winter delight.”

Someone else said: “These are snuggly warm and have a feeling of luxury. The ochre colour is great. I bought these to go with my black winter coat, and they go well. Will enjoy wearing them.”

Others explained that the design is practical, with one saying: “Perfect for when you don’t want to restrict your hands with a glove and look pretty cool too.” Another review said: “Love these gloves, really handy for outings with a camera, great colours!”

However, not everyone was entirely satisfied with the length, as one four-star review noted: “High quality, soft, black and classy let down only by being two or three inches shorter than I would like them to be.”

But one loyal customer praised: “Can’t live without. Been wearing them for more than a decade now.”

Fingerless gloves are an integral part of Claudia’s signature style, which she has previously elaborated on. Speaking on Vernon Kay’s BBC Radio 2 programme in October 2024, she revealed she “found [her] uniform 30 years ago”.

During the chat, she explained: “I want a fingerless glove, and I want eye make-up that looks like I’ve slept in a skip. I tell you what I’ve always wanted to look like and, once I worked it out, I was like ‘I’m going with this’. I wanted to look like a male, mature French student.”

Another Brora item spotted on Claudia this series is the Merino Wool Coat, priced at £595. Offered in sizes six to 18, the design boasts an extended length, flap pockets and a versatile neckline with a sophisticated concealed fastening and exposed top button.

With just three episodes aired so far, viewers can anticipate seeing plenty more from this upmarket Scottish label throughout the season.
