Assassin’s Creed Shadows gives players 27 days to complete new quest | Gaming | Entertainment

The latest Assassin’s Creed Shadows update has gone live – and players have just days to complete a new feature. With fresh story DLC and enhanced gameplay mechanics, it also includes an unexpected collaboration with Attack on Titan.

The Assassin’s Creed Shadows update 1.1.6 is now accessible on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Alongside the introduction of the new Puzzlement story DLC, the patch offers players the chance to tackle a special time-limited quest featuring a colossal Titan-Shifter. But players need to hurry if they want to reap the rewards.

The Attack on Titan collaboration mission is exclusively available from November 25 through to December 22, reports All Out Gaming.

The quest became accessible following the deployment of update 1.1. 6 at 2pm GMT UK time on November 25.

It goes without saying that you’ll need to download the update before participating in the mission.

Players can access the quest by travelling to the Yamashiro region, situated north of Hanazo Tower.

You’ll need to have unlocked Yasuke as a playable character before attempting the quest, which won’t appear on the objective board until the player speaks with the quest giver.

“With a kidnapped Titan-Shifter as their weapon, a mysterious, power-hungry faction has infiltrated feudal Japan, setting their sights on total domination,” reads the official description.

“But when an attempt to rescue the Shifter fails, the lone survivor (with a dark secret) recruits Naoe and Yasuke to help her stop the group from unleashing the terror of a Titan on Japan.”

What else is available as part of the AC Shadows and Attack on Titan crossover?

Players participating in the quest can discover customisation options for their hideout during the mission, including banners and a statue.

Upon completion of the quest, players will be rewarded with a crystal katana for Naoe.

Alongside the complimentary in-game mission, Ubisoft have given fans the option to buy an Attack on Titan Dual Pack from the in-game shop, which includes outfits, weapons, trinkets and a new mount.
