Island that’s 22C in December with £18 Ryanair flights | Travel News | Travel

Travellers can bag Ryanair flights to a destination boasting temperatures of 22C in December from just £18.

The budget carrier, while renowned for its basic service model, often offers bargain trips during off-peak periods.

With Britain’s weather turning increasingly chilly, countless individuals will undoubtedly be fantasising about an overseas escape to warmer climes.

According to Ryanair’s website, UK holidaymakers can snap up a one-way fare to Fuerteventura, Spain’s second-largest Canary Island, from £18 in December.

The island, situated just 60 miles from Africa’s coastline, enjoys maximum temperatures of 22C in December. It remains a popular choice with British tourists, thanks to its year-round heat and numerous beaches.

Passengers departing London Stansted for Fuerteventura on Friday, December 12, can purchase a standard Ryanair ticket for £18. The service leaves at 2.40pm and arrives at 6.55pm, with no time variation between Britain and Fuerteventura.

Return journeys within the same ten-day window start from £14.99.

Visit Fuerteventura characterises the island as: “A paradise with over 150 km of beaches of white sand and turquoise waters, where you can discover vast natural landscapes and experience the open character of the local people. An island where you can practise a host of activities in optimal conditions.”

For those considering a trip to the island, temperatures typically don’t drop below 14C in December. To put this into perspective, London’s temperatures during the same period are usually between 3-9C.
