5 of the best deals in Boots big January sale.

Boots has discounts of up to 50% on a range of products this January (Image: Boots)
As a shopping editor, I spend most of my time scouring websites and watching the prices on some of our favourite products rise and fall. When it comes to beauty, Boots is a go-to because they basically cover all bases and tend to run some fantastic sales throughout the year. Whether you’re on the hunt for a new electric shaver, a Dyson hair tool, or you fancy treating yourself to a fresh fragrance for the new year, they’ve got you covered. And right now is a particularly good time to buy because they’ve launched their big Boots sale.
Alongside Black Friday, Boots’ annual January sale is one of the best times to save across pretty much every category on the website. That said, there’s a lot to choose from, and if you don’t have something specific in mind, it’s easy to feel a bit bogged down trawling through page after page of deals.
There’s up to 50% off, and some of the best discounts are on gift sets now that Christmas is over, from big brands like No7, Sol de Janeiro and fragrances. While the main gifting season might be done, these sets are a great way to stock up on essentials for yourself at a cut of the usual price. There are also some impressive discounts on select luxury brands and dental care.
I’ve scoured the sale to find some of the best deals on offer right now.
No7 Ultimate Skincare Collection Gift Set drops to its ‘lowest’ price

The No7 gift set is at its ‘lowest’ price on the Boots website (Image: Boots)
The winter months can be harsh on our skin, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll already be thinking about how your skincare routine could use a bit of a boost to tackle cold-weather conditions. Moisturising, hydration and calming redness are three things at the very top of my checklist, and the No7 Ultimate Skincare Collection Gift Set includes nine products that claim to tick off a few of these things.
While the set is packaged nicely enough to be given as a gift, the products inside are well-rounded enough to form a solid winter skincare routine. It includes products from the brand’s Protect and Perfect, Future Renew and Lift and Luminate ranges. According to price tracking website Price Runner, it’s currently at its lowest ever price. Originally £85, the set is now down to just £35, which works out at less than £4 per item. That’s especially impressive when you consider that the Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Night Cream, included in the set, costs £27.95 on its own.
In a review on the Boots website, one shopper said: “Excellent products and the best price. As I use these products anyway, I was delighted with the discount.”
Inside the set you’ll find a Protect and Perfect Intense Dual Action Cleansing Water, a toning water designed for “all skin types”, a Protect and Perfect Day Cream with SPF15, the Protect and Perfect Advanced Night Cream, Protect and Perfect Advanced Eye Cream, a Future Renew Night Serum and a Lift and Luminate Primer. There’s also a Pure Retinol Night Concentrate, designed to be used as part of your evening routine. Retinol products come in a range of strengths, from 0.01% to 1% when bought off the shelf (prescription formulas can be much stronger). Generally speaking, 0.3% is considered a medium strength that suits most normal skin types, though it can be too much for sensitive skin or for those who haven’t built up tolerance with lower-strength formulas.
Finally, the set also includes biodegradable cleansing wipes. Overall, the set is very well reviewed on the Boots website, with a 4.8-star rating. One customer said: “I thought the results from using the moisture plus contents of other face products were outstanding!”
Another added: “Excellent products and the best face cream I think you can buy!”
That said, one shopper did complain about the effectiveness of the cleansing wipes for heavier makeup. “Nice selection, but the wipes are not fit for purpose,” they explained. “They do not remove waterproof mascara.”
Save £15 on Sol de Janeiro

The Sol de Janeiro gift set comes with a body cream, spray and oil, as well as a tote bag (Image: Boots)
Sol de Janeiro’s range of body sprays, creams and oils has been something of a hit in the beauty world for a few years now, with its growth significantly driven by social media and TikTok trends. There’s just something about the colourful packaging and genuinely delicious scents that has made the brand popular with consumers of all ages. While plenty of retailers have released their own spritzes inspired by the brand, I don’t think anyone has quite nailed those recognisable scents.
That said, at full price it’s not the most affordable, which is why the Boots discount on the Sol de Janeiro Sol Tote and Body Essentials set is such a good deal.
In the classic Cheriosa 62 scent, described as a blend of pistachio and salted caramel, the set includes a 90ml body spray, a 12ml body oil and a 50ml Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. Both the spray and the cream are part of my daily routine and earn me compliments all the time.
You also get an orange and yellow tote bag as part of the package, which is great for popping to the shops or doubling up as a beach bag on any 2026 holidays you might already be planning.
Usually priced at £45, the set is now £30 in the sale. Considering the 90ml spray alone retails for £24 on LookFantastic at full price (and even on sale it’s £21.60), it’s a bit of a steal.
Shoppers seem to agree, with a 4.8-star rating on the Boots website. One customer review said: “Gorgeous bag, good value set. The oil was new to me, and the texture is stunning and leaves the skin so smooth.”
Oral-B iO2 Electric Toothbrush set more than half price

Down from £100, this Oral-B toothbrush set is now just £45 (Image: Boots)
Upgrading your oral health is a pretty solid way to start the year, and for me, nothing has made cleaning my teeth feel easier or more effective than switching to an Oral-B electric toothbrush. The brand has a wide range of models, some of which can cost up to £800 at full price. If you don’t fancy spending close to a grand, the iO2 Electric Toothbrush is currently more than half price at Boots, down from £100 to £45, saving you £55.
Available in sleek black as well as white and pale pink, it’s a great option if you’re switching from a manual toothbrush. It’s designed with a simple button system and three modes – extra-gentle, gentle and daily clean – making it easy to use. There’s also a two-minute brushing timer that alerts you every 30 seconds to move to a new area, and Oral-B claims it has a long-lasting battery. While I don’t have this exact model (I use the Pro Series 1), in my experience, a full charge can usually last around a week before needing to be recharged again.
One customer said: “I’ve used Oral-B for as long as I can remember and decided on an iO this time, mainly for gum care but also the extended battery life.”
Shoppers have also praised how quiet it is, with one review saying: “Excellent, clean and really quiet too.”
However, one shopper who switched from another Oral-B brush said they struggled with the new shape. “This new one is longer, uncomfortable to hold and feels like I’m going to drop it because it’s smooth and doesn’t have a bobbly surface like the old one,” they said.
As well as the toothbrush itself, the set includes three brush heads, a travel case and a charging port.
Dyson Airwrap Origin Multi-Styler at its ‘lowest’ price

The Dyson Airwrap Multitool is down by £100 (Image: Boots)
Dyson’s hair tools are a major hit in the haircare world, but they don’t come cheap, and sales can be few and far between. Currently, however, Boots has slashed £100 off the Airwrap Origin Multi-Styler in the copper and nickel colourway. According to price tracking website Price Runner, this is its lowest price in a year, and it matches the November sale price, so if it’s been on your wishlist, now’s probably a good time to buy.
At £299, down from £399, it’s still a significant investment, but it’s well-reviewed and, with three attachments, it essentially combines three hair tools into one. Unlike traditional straighteners or tongs, the Airwrap uses airflow to create bouncy curls, soft waves or a salon-style blow-dry at home. The Origin Multi-Styler isn’t the most advanced model in the Dyson range, but it’s one of the most affordable and ideal if you want the Airwrap experience without too much faff.
In a review, one Boots customer said: “Love this hair styling tool, it’s so easy to use.” That said, some shoppers noted it took a bit of practice to fully master.
Braun Series 5 Electric Shaver now half price

There’s up to 50% off a whole range of men’s grooming essentials in the sale, but one of the standout discounts is on the Braun Series 5 Electric Shaver, now reduced by half. Its RRP is £135.99, but it’s currently on sale for £68. According to Braun, it offers up to 50 minutes of battery life and is cordless, making it easy to use.
It’s suitable for both wet and dry shaving, with the brand saying it’s designed to be gentle on skin, and it’s fully waterproof. There are also two shave modes: Turbo for an extra-fast shave and Standard for a quicker but gentler option.
In a review, one shopper said: “Comfortable to hold, gives a smooth skin surface, and one charge gives many shaves.”
However, another customer pointed out that it comes with an EU plug, meaning you’ll need an adaptor to charge it.
